Description
Mild Steel Flat Bar or Flat Bar is a versatile product commonly used in fabrication. With a flat surface and square edge, this product can be purchased in a range of widths and thicknesses. Sizing is represented as Width x Thickness, for example 75 x 5 = (75mm Wide x 5mm Thick).
Flat bar is used widely in engineering and construction for manufacturing support braces, latches, mechanical parts, industrial tools, constructing frames, trailers etc. Also used in domestic industry for making doors, windows etc.
Mild steel flat bar has good to excellent formability, is easy to join by welding processes or with fixings such as rivets, bolts, and screws.
