Description
Redwood also known as Pinus Sylvestris – Pine.
The colour is light reddish brown, demarcated sapwood is pale yellow to nearly white.
Used for various carpentry, interior design and decorating, for example, doors, windows , flooring and interior panels and furniture manufacturing . Also used as the building and construction timber , both structural and non -structural .
Grading / Sorting depends on the dead knots in the timber.
Easy to work with both hand and machine tools. Glues and finishes well.
